Meet Our Leadership Team

Our congregation is made up of people from many locations who all have something in common; We love to worship God, we speak English and we are from a variety of Christian backgrounds. Most of our members are full-time residents, although our congregation is boosted by a varying number of faithful and lovely visitors who come back time and again to worship with us when they can throughout the year.

Phil Molloy

Phil is the Pastor of PCCC,  has lived in Spain since 2007 and was a teacher for many years, most recently at a local International School. Phil has been a member of Pilar Church since 2010. Her vision as Pastor is to “Bring the church into the Community and the Community into the Church.”  This is being achieved through various initiatives you can see across the website.

Sandie Coates

In 2015 Sandie made PCCC her spiritual home.  She has been the treasurer since 2019, is part of the Worship Team and is happy to be part of a building a Bible focused Church.  Sandie became our church Elder in March 2023.  As well as church songs Sandie, along with her husband Graham, love folk & country music and can be regularly found performing at “the Madhouse.”

Antonio Lopez

Antonio, a native of Alicante, has been in ministry since 1988 as Pastor of the Cristo Vive Church in Alicante, along with his wife, Mari Carmen. He also been the Assemblies of God coordinator of the Levante and Murcia region (FRALEMA) for 15 years, serving other pastors and churches in the area. He continues as mentor and AOG support link with the local Levante Fraternity.

Pauline Cass

Pauline has been with PCCC since 2011 .  She provides for our Communion service every 3^rd Sunday and is on our Friday Coffee Morning team.

Fred Windmill

Joined us in 2023 and snuck right into everyone´s heart.  A Salvation Army officer to his core, Fred has the most welcoming spirit and a genuine smile of greeting for all.

Nida Mordaunt

Joined us in 2017 and just jumps right in wherever there is a need, a super cheerful person with a very giving andhospitable heart.

Cindy Sinclair

Cindy joined Pilar church in 2016. She is part of the Worship Team and responsible for the posters you hopefully see for our various activities.  Cindy also helps run Our Friday Coffee Morning.

Rachel Cottis & Pauline

Are our Sunday “Tithes & Offerings” monitors. A serious & necessary part of church life, and though we are few, “all is done decently and in order” 1 Cor 14:40.

Hazel Hodges & Chris Brain

Joined us in 2019 and generally appear as a pair! They are givers of time, energy and love and quietly get on with organising those jobs that no-one sees but without which we would be lost. They are also on our Friday Coffee Morning team.
